Wow. Dutch boss Frank de Boer shows he is still wild and free as he races around in training in his electric trike after snapping his achilles

Ajax manager Frank de Boer has been spotted overseeing events on his training ground while taking a spin on a mobile electric trike. De Boer became immobile after he underwent a surgery for an injury to his achilles.

He sustained the injury during a game of 'foot volley’- kicking the ball over a small net - and has since conducted first team training on crutches and even from a golf buggy.

The 45-year-old now has an ‘easy rider’, a £3,000 electric trike which is handier and easier to maneuver. something the club even released a comical video for.

The former Holland  international who was capped 112 times received the mobile device from e-Bikeboard.They claim the device can move as fast as 28mph.
According to their website, the trike ‘is suitable for daily use, excursions and sightseeing tours.

The Ajax TV footage, shows the boss riding with the classic song 'born to be wild' playing in the background.
De Boer tweeted afterwards, ‘Thanks # eBikeboard I'm mobile again on and around the field and I can perform my job well’

The Eredivisie giants are hoping to regain their title and are currently two points clear of nearest rivals and reigning champions PSV Eindhoven.
