No more Fergie Time! Premier League unveil new hi-tech substitutes board designed by TAG Heuer to be used by fourth officials from next season

Too many robots taking over our game :(

Seriously though, am not sure what has really changed apart from the shape. Forgive me.
But the Premier League have introduced a new design of the substitute board: (you know, the thing raised by the official near the coaches every now and then). And it is will officially be put into use from next season. (who is cheering? Not me)

Manager of league leaders, Claudio Ranieri was present at the unveiling of the gadget put together by watchmakers TAG Heuer.
The Swiss company has become the official timekeeper of the Premier league and referee Craig Pawson demonstrated the new high-tech board, which is based on the curved look of the Carrera chronograph watch.

Nope. No more reason to question additional time
Professional Game Match Officials Board (PGMOL) chief, Mike Riley, was also in attendance to talk about a new handwatch top-flight officials will use next season – perharps to ensure the Fergie Time finally retires with Sir Fergie.

Riley, has been working with TAG Heuer to create a timepiece that accurately records stoppages in play, rather than relying on the fourth official who often uses a notepad and pen.
The new watch is being developed in conjunction with Intel and Google Android Wear, to measure the fitness of officials both during matches and in training sessions.
