On April 22nd 1987, he was born John Michael Nchekwube Obinna in Jos.

Despite all the criticism he has faced in his career, the Super Eagles captain has won more Premier League titles (2) than the number of goals he has scored in the competition (1) during his 10-year stay in England as a Chelsea player. Even great Stevie G can't compete with his domestic trophy cabinet.

In the summer he would have completed 10 years at Chelsea and will be due for a testimonial from the club.
