Felipe Scolari warns incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte 'nothing can prepare you' for life at a club like Chelsea

If there is any ex-Chelsea coach that could have been described as the most high profile with a very attractive CV before he took the job at Stamford Bridge, it was Luiz Felipe Scolari who won the FIFA world cup with Brazil in 2002. Unfortunately, even that was not good enough for Roman Abramovich who sacked him after just one season.

The Brazilian who oversaw just 36 games at the club before getting axed has now chosen to give his colleague, Antonio Conte a heads-up before he assumes the position next summer. The Italian and current Italy national team manager signed a three-year contract to take charge of the club from next season after he takes his home nation to Euro 2016.

Conte won back-to-back-to-back Serie A titles with Juventus but Scolari insists his new challenge will be an entirely different one altogether and the fact that it would be in the premier league would not help.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Scolari who manages Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande said: 'you can win the World Cup, be European champion and the best coach on the planet - but that cannot prepare anyone for a job like Chelsea.

'Your coaching record does not count once you're there because you must win things straight away.
'It's like very few positions in the world because the Premier League is like no other league in the world. Plus it's Chelsea, where the expectations are higher than most clubs in the world'.

Scolari, 67, who was appointed in 2008 reminded Conte that apart from the likes of Claudio Ranieri, Andre Villas-Boas, Avram Grant, Rafa Benitez, Roberto Di Matteo who fell on Abramovich's sword, Jose Mourinho - the most successful manager in their history - despite all his achievements within and outside the club was sacked for the second time.

Scolari added, 'one thing is certain in football, especially at a club like that, you will lose your job at some point.
'When you see such a successful and smart coach as Mourinho lose his job, you can understand how difficult it is.
