Chelsea manager, Guus Hiddink urges the Blues not to sell Willian to Chinese Super League this summer following news of £50m bid

Earlier today, news broke out that Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande are will to spend £50m on Chelsea's Brazil playmaker, Willian, this summer. However, Guus Hiddink has told Chelsea not to sell Willian to China.

In January, the Blues accepted £25m from Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning for Ramires and although a massive change is expected to take place at the club this summer, but fans would be surprised and outraged if Roman Abramovich gives his blessing for the hardworking midfielder to be let go. He has by fay been their best performer in this shambolic season so far. He was also one of the key players when they won the league last season.

Amidst the whispers of a potential move, the Stamford Bridge caretaker boss, Hiddink , who will be succeeded by Antonio Conte in the summer, said: “I have known Willian for many years before the Chelsea time. As a person, he is very nice and down to earth. On top of that, he is doing a very good job.

“This year, a difficult year, he is working hard with his natural ability and sacrificing himself. (Even) When they defend and sacrifice themselves, he has the attitude to do so. He can be a key player at this club.”

Give your thoughts, do you think Chelsea should cash in on the Brazilian this summer?
