GRAPHIC CONTENT! Spanish footballer has three teeth knocked out in a foul but referee doesn't even give a free kick!


A Spanish third division player, Diego Bardanca, was left not just in pain but with a horrific mouth injury that saw three teeth ripped from the gums - but didn’t even win a free kick!

The 23-year-old, was playing for JaƩn away at Melilla when he received a boot to the face and despite the fact that he was visibly in agony, the referee allowed play to continue until concerned teammates convinced the officials to stop the game. Watch below...


The medical staff were invited onto the pitch, and then it became obvious how significant the damage was to Bardanca’s mouth and gums. Even then, Bardanca refused the offer of a stretcher to carry him off the pitch, instead, he walked off fuming. The former Levante youngster, was left fuming the more when the officials decided not to even award his side a free-kick.

He tweeted after the game: “Being very, very restrained: It’s an absolute embarrassment that they’ve left my mouth like this and not even given a free kick.”
