Is this the most BIZARRE reason for a fan to ever be thrown out of a stadium - Only in America!

Here it is in summary...Vancouver Whitecaps fan dragged out of the stadium for throwing POPCORN at opposition player. Yes, popcorn.

During an MLS game between the Whitecaps and Sporting Kansas City, English striker Dom Dwyer who plays for Sporting was stretching by the side of the pitch when a Vancouver Whitecaps supporter began shouting in his direction.

After Dwyer's response, the 'armed' fan responded by hurling handfuls of popcorn at him.

Stewards immediately confronted the fan, attempting to drag him up the stairs and out of the back of the stand. However, the angry supporter wasn't about to go without a fight, as he grappled with the stewards before appearing to throw a left hook at one of them.

He was then wrestled to the ground and pinned him down. The video of the incident then abruptly ends.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw after Christian Bolanos' opener for Vancouver was cancelled out by Sporting's Diego Rubio's equaliser.

Both teams currently find themselves languishing in mid-table of the Western Conference despite having modest starts to the season, earlier on.
