Barca leave young fan "heartbroken" with worst photoshop ever...but they make up in classy style

Football fan Hanya Sajad was given the treat of her life from Barcelona - but only after they almost ruined their reputation by cancelling a meeting between herself and the players. She had been scheduled to meet Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi in Barcelona but the club cancelled at the last minute to rearrange for another day.

The 11-year-old Stoke City fan is a disabled girl who suffers from the same growth deficiency disease Lionel Messi suffered with as a child, and she idolises the five-time world player of the year, to the extent that her mum, Lisa McLane, got in touch with the Spanish club to tell them about her daughter's plight and try to arrange a meeting.

They were given assurances by the Spanish champions that the family would be able to meet Messi and his teammates. Hence, Lisa, 34, managed to gather hundreds of pounds for herself, Hanya, and her two other children to fly out to Catalonia in January.
The club had arranged for little Hanya to meet the players before watching them play a La Liga match in upgraded seats at the Nou Camp.

However, after two hours of waiting on matchday, the meeting was cancelled without reason by the club and, to add insult to injury, the upgraded tickets were scrapped too.
Hanya was reportedly left devastated and "heartbroken" and had to make do with a photo-shopped picture of herself alongside Messi instead.

Being who they are though, Barcelona eventually showed their class, as they arranged for Hanya and her family to return to the club in March, where the youngster finally met her idol.
She posed for pictures alongside Messi, as well as Brazilian duo Neymar and Dani Alves.

Earlier this week English club, Stoke City also gave her a tour of their Clayton Wood Training Complex where she met some of the club's first teamers such as England goalkeeper Jack Butland, Marc Muniesa and Peter Crouch.
