After the Barcelona/ Atletico drama, could this the most bizarre red card ever?

In football we have seen all forms or craziness...or at least until one crazier comes up. In the past we have seen red cards brandished for grappling with pitch invaders, for ripping up the ref's notebook, and even for attempting to send for sending them off. Whew...so eventful.

In this case, asides from the fact that it seems in just, it could as well be the weirdest of them all.
True that players every now and then get accused by opposition of making a meal of 'minor' challenges, but when it is coming from the ref to a player who was elbowed down and is being checked by the physios if his brain is still working properly, can't we call that weird?

Ok, well thats not all. While lying on his back and receiving attention from the medical team he found a way to kick an opponent who had probably said something to hurt his feelings.

That was the position Melbourne Victory striker Besart Berisha found himself in after getting elbowed by Wellington Phoenix defender Ben Sigmund. Watch below...

Berisha who is also known as a 'fiery' Albanian on his part, now has to serve a two-game ban - and has been backed by his manager Kevin Muscat, who said, "Some of the treatment Besart receives is unacceptable. His crime was getting elbowed in the head."

Not even a yellow card but a straight red. Do you think it was unfair on him?
