"Conte, just let my Chelsea win again!' Samuel Eto'o pleads with incoming Blues boss

Ex-Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o has watched his former side go from champions to the season's biggest embarrassment as they continue to flounder despite the man who brought him to the London club getting sacked in December.

Following their latest game, a 1:0 loss to Swansea on Saturday, he has now pleaded with incoming boss, Antonio Conte to restore Chelsea to their place at the top of English and European football when he takes over the managerial reigns this summer.

The Italian national team boss was named as the new Blues boss last week and will take over from interim Guus Hiddink after Euro 2016. And the Cameroonian, believes Conte has the credentials to succeed at Stamford Bridge.

While speaking on Goal.com, the 35-year-old said: 'I don't think that a great manager as Antonio Conte needs my advice.
'I think that he's demonstrated already to be one of the best in world football, he needs just to continue to work like this. He won a lot.

'Chelsea will allow him to work much better, thanks to the great players. Also, he was a great player.
'I just wish him good luck, because it is important in football. Conte, just let my Chelsea win again!'
