Is this the weirdest/ unluckiest injury ever? Player suffers bad leg, ankle and shoulder injuries without contact!

Most injuries are as a result of contact with another player, while some are not. But when a player suffers an injury to his leg, shoulder and ankle, in a match one would expect that a player got sent off for that. However, that was not the case with this unfortunate Central Coast Mariners defender, Storm Roux.

Roux has now been ruled out for the rest of the season after he suffered the shocking triple injury in a match.

The 23-year-old defender from New Zealand suffered a broken his leg, badly damaged his ankle and dislocated shoulder in the same accident that that happened on the pitch on Sunday. While trying to block a shot against Melbourne City at AAMI Park, he apparently twisted in a way strange to his anatomy and was immediately in serious distress evident as he frantically waved for medical assistance.
