Chelsea academy player Ola Aina donates his used kits to 'football clubs' in Nigeria

I imagine the title got you as upset and it did me. However, I took some time out to do some digging and it turns out the story is not actually as it was tweeted by this social media user below.

The 19-year-old posted a heartwarming gesture with an image of himself posing alongside a bag full of balls and boots.
Alongside the photo he wrote: "All my old boots, balls and kits being shipped off to the motherland this morning to the less fortunate."
He is sponsored by sportswear giants Adidas.

Despite representing England from Under-16 level right through to the Under-19s levels, he is eligible to play for Nigeria due to his heritage and seems keen to encourage more people from his motherland to play the game.

He is one of the hottest prospects in the Chelsea academy and has been tipped to be next in line to make the step up to the first team after Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
