Eden Hazard is like a "spoilt child" that I would "kick up and down the training pitch," slams former United captain Roy Keane

Outspoken former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has slammed Eden Hazard for his comment made in the eve of Chelsea's Champions League game against PSG. Speaking ahead of the significant game, the Belgian said it would be difficult for him to turn down a transfer offer from the French club. Read here

Roy Keane has now responded, slamming Hazard for being insensitive and branding him a 'spoilt child'.
He said: "I can’t understand these players, he signed an extension of five years only last year, when we saw how brilliant he was… and then he’s coming out with all that nonsense on the eve of a big game.
"If I was a team-mate of his I would kick him up and down the training pitch. Some of the senior players have got to get hold of him. He’s a talented boy, but his attitude is like a spoilt child. It was absolutely ridiculous.

"You don’t mind some players sometimes being moody, or having their head turned if they think they might be moving, but once you go on that pitch you’ve still got your pride.
"You’re playing for your team-mates, for your club, for your supporters, for your family. You’ve got to go out and perform, and be moody after the game if need be."

And Keane's fellow pundit on ITV Glenn Hoddle insists the 25-year-old needs to keep his head down if he is to re-cpature his best form ahead of this summer's European Championships.

"Before, they had a [Didier] Drogba, they had John Terry, a Frank Lampard and Petr Cech -experienced players who would’ve stopped that at source," said the former Chelsea boss.

"At the end of the day for me, there’s something there. Having signed a five-and-a-half year deal a year ago… if he wants to go back to a league and to a club that wins the league by 30 points each year, he’s not testing himself as a player. That’s what disappoints me.

"He’s got to knuckle down and play well for Chelsea this year, that’s who’s paying his money now.

"He’s a top player… last year he was exquisite at times, he probably won the league in the first half of last season for Chelsea, and he’s nowhere near that at the moment."

Do you think Hazard would remain at Chelsea beyond this summer?
