Barcelona chief flies in to set up their first African based academy in Lagos

Spanish giants Barcelona are the most successful club side in recent history and have rightly win over lots of fans However, it seems they are now looking to expand their global reach, specifically in Lagos, Nigeria.

A member of the Board Pau Vilanova, alongside some other delegates, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Lagos state Akinwunmi Ambode at the Lagos House, Ikeja, in Monday. It is understood that they are in Lagos to liaise with the state government on their plans to set up an Academy.
