Why is Jason Derulo being blamed for Roberto Martinez' s sack from the hot seat Everton?

Stats have really helped and proven things in the past, but am not so sure what to make of this...

Some are claiming the reason Roberto Martinez is now riding solo after being sacked as Everton boss earlier this evening has something to do with US pop star Jason Derulo, whose show he attended in February.

And after winning just one of his last 10 games and conceding six goals in their last two outing - 3 apiece against champions Leicester and relegation survivors Sunderland, Martinez was finally sacked as Toffees boss on Thursday.

The axe dropped after weeks of multiple protests against Martinez from Evertonians at recent games.

But is handsome Mr Derulo really to blame? Back in February the manager was spotted showing off some badass moves at a Jason Derulo concert in Manchester.

When the days were good...

Before that concert Everton had won 7 out of 26 games, picking up 32 points along the way. A fair win ration of 1.33 points per game.
However, there was a sharp downward slide for the team after that gig. They struggled, winning just three games from 13 and amassing just nine points, just 0.92 points per game. Perhaps the fans have Derulo to thank for unveiling the "truth" about Martinez...
