England and Germany name final Euro squads with Drinkwater and Reus surprisingly left out

England and Germany have released their final squad lists for this summer's Euro kicking off in 10 days. Both teams have some surprises with Leicester's Danny Drinkwater left out of the squad. Fabian Delph and Andros Townsend were also dropped from the original 26 man squad while Manchester United's latest most priced young asset Marcus Rashford has remained.

The discussion ahead of the final release was about who between himself and an injured Daniel Sturridge was going to be dropped. However, it seems Rashford's winning goal against Australia, scoring 2mins and 18secs after coming off the bench for a dream debut was enough to pick him.

England Full squad

The Three Lions' final warm-up game is on Thursday, when they face Portugal at Wembley in a match which is likely to see little experimentation as both managers try to fine-tune their first-choice lineups.

Germany coach Joachim Low has named his 23 man squad and surprisingly Dortmund's Marco Reus has been left out with uncapped Julian Weigl named.
