The former Super Eagles international and Everton star defender is being honoured this weekend for his illustrious contribution for the national team with a testimonial in his home state of Rivers State, Nigeria.

The Super Eagles most capped international with 100 caps who is being honoured by the state government and the NFF has Ifeanyi Ubah FC, Authority Newspaper amongst others as sponsors. The game which will be between Yobo and Friends versus Super Eagles stars.

Foreign players to join the star of the day are ex-England captain and Chelsea legend John Terry, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, Samuel Eto'o, Toure brothers, Everton's US goalkeeper Tim Howard, ex-United player Louis Saha, William Galas and the very active Ayew brothers.
Lining up against them would be Jay-Jay Okocha, kanu Nwankwo, Taibo west, Finidi George, Chidi Odia, Yakubu 'Yak' Aiyegbeni, Vincent Enyeama, Emmanuel Emenike amongst others.

The much anticiated event will take place on Children's Day, Friday May 27 at the Amasieamaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Kick-off is by 4pm and it would be broadcast live on SuperSports.
