Premier League Transfer Rumours: Sanchez, Pogba, Lukaku, Walcott, Adebayor and More

With some Premier League clubs looking to fast seal the transfer business before the Euros, lots of speculations have been in the news. One of them being the quest by one of the big 5 to snap Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal. See today's transfer rumours featuring Sanchez, Pogba, Lukaku, Walcott and more as the papers are reporting...

12. Emmanuel Adebayor Could Stay on at Crystal Palace

The controversial striker hasn't had quite the desired impact at Crystal Palace this season, but his future is certainly far more clear cut after manager Alan Pardew confirmed that a second campaign at Selhurst Park could be on the cards depending on upcoming talks.

"I'll still sit down with him at the end of the year, shake his hand and see where we both want to go. Of course he has numerous options so we won't be the only one," Pardew is quoted as saying by the Metro.

11. British Players Top Stoke's Wishlist

Having brought in a plethora of continental stars ranging from Bojan Krkic to Marko Arnautovic to Xherdan Shaqiri to Giannelli Imbula and others in recent years, Stoke manager Mark Hughes is now reported to be prioritising a number of home-grown British players in the transfer market.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Hughes wants a minimum of three British signings in a bid to 'balance out' the Potters increasingly cosmopolitan dressing room. As such, it is said that a fresh Saido Berahino enquiry has been made, while Norwich and England Under-21 winger Nathan Redmond also remains of interest.

10. Sunderland Hoping to Seal Permanent Yedlin Deal

A report from the Northern Echo has given Sunderland hope of completing a permanent deal for American international full-back DeAndre Yedlin. The former Seattle Sounder is unlikely to be a part of the first-team picture at Tottenham, while Sam Allardyce is ready to part with £2m to have Yedlin back on Wearside for the long haul.

The player himself has previously ruled out such a move after a successful loan.

9. Sissoko Tipped to be First Newcastle Star to Leave

Who would be surprised? Nobody believes he is only good enough for the Championship.
With rumoured sustained interest from Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham amongst others following Newcastle's relegation from the Premier League, it seems to now be a question of 'when' and not 'if' Moussa Sissoko leaves Newcastle.

Coming from the angle of a possible fresh approach from Arsenal, the Daily Mirror has suggested that the powerful French midfielder could even be the first player to walk from St James' Park this summer. The price of any deal is likely to be around £10m.

8. Martin Skrtel Could Leave Liverpool for Turkey

I have always been a fan of the tough tackling defender, buet apparently his good days are behind him. Manager Jurgen Klopp seemingly thinks he has no further part to play at Liverpool with the Slovakian defender linked with a summer move to Turkey. More specifically, to newly crowned Super Lig champions Besiktas.

"Skrtel is considering a move to Turkey he is open to the option of playing here," football agent Mithat Halis is quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.com.
"Fenerbahce made an offer last season. Besiktas want Skrtel and make no secret of this, Turkish sides have been trying to sign him for five seasons but this summer he could make the move."

7. Son a Surprise Name on Spurs Clear Out List

This is a surprise name on the out list for me. Son Heung-min enjoyed a promising, start to his debut season for Tottenham after a big money move from Bayer Leverkusen, but apparently the South Korean winger could soon be on his way as part of an expected mini clear out.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Spurs will listen to offers for Son. The player's fate is said to have been sealed after Mauricio Pochettino was less than impressed by his recent performance in the 5-1 humiliation at the hands of Newcastle.

Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb are also named as being for the chop in the same report, while Nacer Chadli is an individual that has been mentioned in virtually all past transfer windows.

6. West Ham Told to Make 'Cannot Refuse' Lacazette Offer

Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas has confirmed that West Ham did indeed have a recent €40m bid for Alexandre Lacazette turned down and has stated that only an offer that the club cannot refuse will be enough to prise the French international away.

"We have refused several offers, with the largest being that of West Ham for €40m. I want to keep him but there is no certainty because he will decide in the end. If there is an offer that we cannot refuse, he will come see me and then that is it," Aulas told Le Progresin France.

5. Chelsea Make Contact Over Lukaku

Chelsea seem to have taken their first serious step towards re-signing Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, just two years after deeming the player surplus to requirements. According to HLN, contact has been established with Everton.

The future of John Stones, a player Chelsea made multiple failed efforts to sign last summer, is also thought to have been a topic of conversation. Previous estimates have valued the England defender at £40m however, following his inconvincing performance this season, the Blues might get him cheaper than that. Meanwhile, a deal for Lukaku could even top £50m.

In other Chelsea news, the Daily Telegraph has reported that the club is still very keen on capturing Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan, despite his pledge of allegiance to Roma.

4. Everton Already Eyeing Lukaku Replacement

It would appear, that Everton have accepted their fate with Lukaku leaving, wherever that might be, and have already turned their attention to finding a capable replacement who will score the goals to fire the club back up the table next season.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the Toffees have eyes on a couple of prolific Eredivisie strikers. One is Ajax and Poland hit-man Arkadiusz Milik, who was the Dutch league's second top scorer in 2015/16, while the other is rising AZ star Vincent Janssen.

Janssen, who is just 21 years of age, netted 27 times to finish as top scorer by some distance, while he also struck for the Dutch national team against England at Wembley in March.

3. Leicester Ask About Walcott

Premier League champions Leicester City are the latest club being linked with Arsenal forward Theo Walcott. According to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, Walcott was the subject of an enquiry from Claudio Ranieri when Arsenal met with Foxes officials over a possible move for Riyad Mahrez.

Walcott has fallen way down the Gunners pecking order this season, but apparently has no interest in a move to the King Power Stadium. He has previously been linked with West Ham, Liverpool and former club Southampton, although it is thought his preference is to stay with Arsenal.

2. Pogba Has 'Firm Offer' From Man Utd

A report from One World Sports journalist Duncan Castles has claimed that Juventus are open to selling midfield star Paul Pogba this summer. That's despite regular public insistence from club officials that the French international is going nowhere.

Castles also writes that Pogba has two 'firm offers' on the table. One is said to be from his former club Manchester United as Ed Woodward tries to make good on his ambition of landing a Galactico-style signing, while the other is from Paris Saint-Germain.

1. Man City Eye Ambitious Premier League Triple Swoop

Raiding other Premier League clubs could form a significant part of Pep Guardiola's summer plans when he finally takes over as Manchester City boss. In rumours that keep surfacing, the Sun claims that Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez is a major target, while Tottenham left-back Danny Rose is also a consideration.

Sanchez was taken to Barcelona by Guardiola back in 2011, while Rose has the added bonus of helping the club meet home-grown quotas. John Stones also remains on the radar and is the most likely of the trio to actually quit his current club without much of a push.
