Although some foreign players were not present at the event, it was not short of entertainment and lots of fun from retired and active stars in the game.

Former Manchester United boss David Moyes who made the star of the day Joseph Yobo his first signing upon assuming the managerial role at Everton was in attendance and he was duly cheered by fans at the Amasieamaka Stadium in Rivers State.

The event was supported by Rivers State government, The NFF, United Bank for Africa, Zenith Bank, among others.

The game was so entertaining and trust Jay Jay Okocha to remind us that the stuff he is made of can never grow old. He so put up the entertainment with his trademark pieces of skill that a fed up Samuel Eto'o attempted to drag him off the pitch, signalling to the fourth official for the ex-PSG man to be subbed-off.

Eto'o on his own part made a silly thing out of Vincent Enyeama who was in goal for the Super Eagles stars 11 before rounding him and slotting the ball into an empty net. The Lille goalie gave chase, the pair ended in a warm embrace after a friendly chase around them post.

Yobo retires from active football after accruing 101 caps for the national team and it was in general a memorable day for the ex-defender and indeed Nollywood actor Osita Iheme who scored after coming on as a sub. His goal sent the crowd into raptors. The game ended Team Nigeria 5-4 Team World. Watch highlights below...
