Barcelona reveal unfinished new kit for 2016/17 with two very notable things missing

Barcelona have officially unveiled their new home strip for the 2016/17 season. Two things are most conspicuous though - the fact that the club has returned to vertical stripes and the fact that they do not have a shirt sponsor.
Their decision to switch to their more traditional vertical hoops comes a year after fans complained about their controversial switch to red and blue hoops at the start of this season.

The kit was modeled by Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Luis Suarez , Andres Iniesta, Neymar and Gerard Pique.

With regards to their kit sponsorship, the Spaniards are said to have been locked in discussions over a new sponsorship deal with Qatar Airways, but have still failed to come to an agreement for a renewal despite the contract expiring in a month. They are rumoured to be in discussions with Pepsi among others.

Meanwhile, UK Mirror claim they have just recently renewed their deal with American sportswear giant, Nike for a further 10 years at €100million a year.
