Top 10 Biggest Kit Deals in Current World Football

So with Chelsea's new mega Nike deal that prompted them to ditch Adidas at a price of £40m and recent news that Barcelona look to have sorted out a record-breaking new kit deal with Nike, it felt like the perfect time to round up the most lucrative kit deals from around the world of football.
See list below...

10. Paris Saint-Germain: £17.6

With Nike their kitter, PSG is the only French side to break into the top 10 as they continue to grow in the continental front.

9. AC Milan: £19m

The first of quite a few Adidas deals on this list. Milan extended their deal with the German company in 2013, having begun their partnership all the way back in 1998.
Mhmm, 1998. It is safe to say their relationship with their kit supplier is literally older than their goalkeeper -16-year-old Gianluigi Donnarumma.

8. Juventus: £20m

The reigning Italian champions signed their current kit deal last summer, replacing Nike with Adidas strips on a six-year deal worth something in the region of £20m per season.

7. Liverpool: £25m

A reasonably new name in the football kitting game, American company New Balance snapped Liverpool up just over 12 months ago in a deal thought to be worth about £25m a season to the Merseyside club. For a team who have only played Champions League football once in the last six years, that's not bad going at all.

6. Arsenal: £30m

After a long relationship with Nike, Arsenal jumped ship to Puma in 2013 to sign a 5-year, deal worth around £30m per season - the biggest in the history of English football at the time it was signed.

5. Real Madrid: £30.6m

Some would be quite surprised at the figure Adidas have thrown in for world football's most valuable club. However,  there is little solace in the fact that there was some chat around the turn of the year that Madrid had agreed an absolutely gargantuan new deal worth around £106m-a-year with Adidas. Reality though is that it's all fallen away a little - clearly not all done and dusted.

For now, Real sit just 5th in the list as they wait for Adidas to fork out more money. Lots and lots more money.

4. Chelsea: £60m

Erm, never mind the picture because Chelsea have just this week agreed a £60m-a-year deal with - you know who - Nike!

The Blues recently cancelled their 6-year £30m-a-year deal with Adidas midway through to seek pastures new, and found the famous Americans waiting at their door.

3. Bayern Munich: £64.5m

Just as they say that there's only one team in Germany, the kit deals seem to have agreed to that completely. Bayern signed a new 10-year deal with Adidas near the end of last season which put them in their rightful place near the top of the kit sponsorship pantheon. Surprisingly way above Real Madrid despite being in the German league who have fewer followers than the English and Spanish leagues.

2. Manchester United: £75m

Currently the biggest kit deal in the history of world football (depending on when you're reading this).

A monumental £750m over 10 years dragged United away from Nike two years ago, and they've not looked back since. Ed Woodward might not be the best when it comes to transfer business, but he sure knows his onions in the REAL business.

1. Barcelona: £76.6m

Reports from Spain on Thursday claim that there is an impending new contract between Barca and Nike, with the Catalan giants set for an enormous 200% increase on their current kit deal income.

While it's not official yet...it looks to be as good as done, leaving the Spanish champions sitting pretty at the top of this list.
