Arsenal have hit the jackpot with £35m Granit Xhaka As Unbelievable Euro 2016 Stats Reveal


Arsenal and Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka​ has been one of the star performers of Euro 2016 thus far, winning the man of the match award in Switzerland's 1-1 draw with Romania.
The point earned means that Xhaka and his Swiss teammates need just a draw against hosts France on Sunday to earn a ticket to the Round of 16.

Vladamir Petkovic's side were unlucky not to beat Romania, with striker Haris Seferovic missing a number of guilt edge chances for the Swiss.
However, it was midfield dynamo Granit Xhaka that orchestrated much of the good football from Switzerland, and his stats only reinforce just how good he has been at this summer's tournament.



Against Romania alone, Xhaka made 103 passes, including three key passes, with a completion rate of 87%. He utilised his aerial ability to win four headed duels as well as completing two key tackles and interceptions.
Over both ties against Albania and Romania, the new Arsenal signing has attempted a total of 224 passes, completing 197.
Xhaka's performances will certainly be easy viewing for Arsenal fans, who will be eager to see the 23-year old in action following his £35 million move from Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach.
