Since Chelsea's 2:1 loss to Crystal Palace, the blues boss José Mourinho, has threatend to axe his first team stars. He bemoaned his decision to start some of them on the pitch against the Londoners despite their performances in the league so far. According to him, 'If a player is not performing, there are two ways to look at it. The first one is that i trust the player so much that i will wait for improvements, you wait and wait and maybe it doesn't come.'

He continued by insisting that three of his starting eleven players were below par, however he refused to mention names when pressed on same.
