Former Chelsea midfilder set to become Man City player in club record deal

Wolfburg midfilder Kevin De Bruyne has been the subject of multiple transfer bids by Manchester City.

De Bruyne who helped his German side to second position in the  Bundesliga last season has reportedly been flown into England in a private jet to complete his transfer which is believed to be in the region of £52m. The Belgium international also ended the season as the clubs best player.

The transfer will see the blue side of Manchester break their transfer record for the second time this Summer after the £49m transfer of Raheem Sterling from Liverpool football club.
